...The car is then taken on a test drive by the assigned technician to assess the notes which were made when taking the booking. If any queries are raised on the test drive, the owner is then called for further information. The vehicle is taken to a workshop and inspected. Braunton have a routine of checking the vehicle throughout, with special attention to ongoing road safety and reliability. Any appropriate notes are taken and if further work is required these are listed with the original booking notes, price estimates for parts and labour are compiled with a priority of order given to safety and reliability. Each vehicle is covered by comprehensive insurance whilst in the care of the team.
Transparency: Braunton Engineering are committed to a transparency of pricing for a Porsche service - including parts & labour, and will supply itemised estimates for each job, keeping customers informed throughout the vehicles stay, and welcomes owners into the workshop to inspect work at any time whilst the car is in their care. This provides the peace of mind that only work and costs that have been approved are carried out with the owners authority.
Schedule: The vehicle is assigned a technician, and this technician follows the vehicle throughout its stay at the garage. The technician follows a print out of the Porsche factory service schedule check sheet which features both work to complete and specific visual inspections to grade the condition of the vehicle according to its current mileage. Coupled with the teams daily regime of MOT testing and familiarity with each model, the visual inspections offer a comprehensive scrutiny of a vehicles current state.
